Wellow Seniors Friendly Matches

Wellow Seniors plays a number of Friendly Matches against other local golf clubs during the year. Generally , but with some exceptions, they comprise teams of 12 golfers and play 4 ball better ball format off yellow tees.

• Southwick Park GC, Pinsley Dr, Southwick, Portsmouth PO17 6EL
• Upavon GC, Pewsey SN9 6BQ
• Test Valley GC, Overton, Basingstoke RG25 3DS for the Farewell Cup
• East Horton GC, Mortimers Ln, Fair Oak, Eastleigh SO50 7EA

A triangular match is played annually comprising teams from Wellow GC, Test Valley GC and Osborne GC , East Cowes on the Isle of Wight PO32 6JX. Each golf club takes it in turn to host the event. Each team consists of 8 seniors and 4 ladies. There are 12 groups of three players. Each group will consist of one lady and two seniors each representing a different clubs
